A Backyard Camp out

So Daddy decided to give Mommy and Macie a peaceful night and take the older kids on a backyard camp out :) The kids were so excited we ate dinner outside, and Daddy set up the tent and made s'mores, yum, yum!! So after dinner and s'mores Macie and I wished all a good night and went inside for some sweet dreams. Even though it was a peaceful night for Macie and me poor Daddy had a rough night of keeping 3 kids that move ALL night long in their sleep under blankets and on the air mattresses! It's the memories that count though right? And if that's true then it was a total success!! The kids had a blast and ask almost everyday when they get to camp out again? :) Daddy?

My 4 sweet babies all jammied up and ready for their camp out :)

Daddy cookin up some yummy s'mores!!

Hunter enjoying his first marshmallow treat ever :)

Carson and his s'more. Although he loves them, he hates getting sticky :)

Ellie on the other hand could care less about being sticky. I think the sticky they are the better they taste :)

Good night my crazy crew. Thanks for being such a great Daddy Matt!!! Next summer all the kids will be old enough and we can use all our great camping gear for reals :)

Dance Recital

Ellie had her dance recital today, and even though I am a bias viewer I think she did AWESOME!!! It is so much fun to watch her perform, and I am so proud of her! She has come a long way since last year and I thoroughly enjoy watching her grow :) She did 2 routines for the recital. A jazz routine "Hey Baby" and a tap routine "Doctor, Doctor". She absolutely adores her teachers Miss Melissa, and Miss Jessica so hopefully they stick around for awhile :) You did a GREAT job my Ellie Ray Ray I am so proud of you!!! p.s. thank you Papa, Uncle Mark, Allie, Grandma, and Grandpa for supporting our little girl! And thank you to my Mom and Oma who watched Macie and Hunter so I could watch my Ellie dance :)

Ellie's Dress Rehearsal

Ellie had her dress rehearsal for her recital today. She loves, loves, loves to dance!! It is so much fun to watch :) If you ever ask her to show you a dance move I am 99.9% sure it would be a leg hold. She goes around all day long practicing her leg holds and is getting pretty darn good at them!

2 WEEKS!

Our Macie Leigh is already 2 weeks old! It has been an adjustment having 4, but at least I have one more week with Matthew at home :) Although our little Macie isn't the easiest baby she's a cute one so I guess we'll keep her! She has had a little rocky start with jaundice and breastfeeding. So we have to feed miss princess every 2 hours which wouldn't be too bad if it didn't take her 2 hours to eat 2 ounces; because of her jaundice all she wants to do is sleep. So basically Mommy's job is to pump and feed, pump and feed all day long! Everyone who has tried to feed her can attest to the difficulty it is to get this miss little thing to eat. It is seriously agonizing to force her to drink her bottle, I feel so mean sometimes making her :( Hopefully the jaundice will be gone soon, she'll start gaining weight, and feeding time will be much more enjoyable for both of us :)

Our Little Graduate!

Today Ellie graduated from Preschool :) I was hoping that I would make it in my pregnancy past this date, but sadly I did not and missed it :( Matthew video taped her part for me though and she gave me the low down when she got home! She attended Patchwork Preschool for the past 2 years and has learned so much she can hardly wait to go to Kindergarten, or as she likes to call it "Big Kid School". Why is it when we are young we can wait to get older, but when we are older we wish we were young? I guess the statement of "The grass is always greener on the other side" holds true!! I am excited for her to learn and grow, it has not yet hit me that I will soon have a Kindergartner who goes to "Big Kid School"! As for Miss Chris, don't miss me too much I'll be back next year with Carson :)

Our little graduate all dressed up for her big day!

Ellie put the program on hold when it was her turn to speak and she had to use the restroom, haha. I tell you it never fails with that one! She always has to go at the most inconvenient times :)
